Greetings from Our Scout Master
I became involved with Scouting when my son became a Scout. I think that Boy Scouts learn many valuable skills that are not taught in schools and churches. I have spent over twenty years in education and I feel that many of the students that I have encountered over those years could have benefited from having been apart of Scouts. I'm proud to be associated with this troop! Mr. Keith Burns
Greetings from Our Assistant Scout Master
Hello my name is Sashah Robertson. I have two sons Mareon who is 23 with my 3 Grandchildren and Dominic who is 12. I originally tried scouting with Mareon when he was in 1st grade but he decided he liked sports better. Dominic on the other hand started in cub scouts in first grade and is still very interested. We are hoping to achieve the rank of Eagle before he reaches 16. I started off volunteering with his Cub Scout packs, after a year of that I became a Cub master leading 5 after school packs. I have also become Assistant Scout Leaser for his troop. Troop 959, as well as our partner Troop 123. These are some great scouts that are doing great things. We have built a garden for the seniors, a playground for the little ones and a studio for those in between. This Troop is really doing it’s part to uplift the community!
