Becoming an Eagle Scout requires lots of hard work, service and dedication. It instills skills in the youth that they can carry and apply for the rest of their lives. It is said that only %5 make it because the journey is not easy. On top of earning the prestigious rank, the scouts build life long friendships, have competitive advantages on their college and career applications, and it helps them if they decide to serve on the police force or in the military.
With that being said our Troop has been busy these last few months! With summer coming to a close we had the pleasure of assisting 6 (yes you heard that right!) scouts advance to their Eagle Rank! We welcomed new boys into our cub scouts and new boys into the troop! Just to name a few things we camped, hiked, served, attended air shows and more much! These young men are always willing to step up to the plate! Their unity and care for one another is impressive. Lets not forgot all the adult leaders and parents who work behind the scenes to help make things happen, we applaud you and appreciate all your hard work!
